10 Things Indie Filmmakers should NOT do

These 10 Things don’t have anything to do with how to frame a shot or how to get a good performance out of an actor. Instead, he focuses on technical issues such as “1. Thou Shalt Not Use Cineframe Mode on Sony HDV Cameras.” In addition to a great list that illuminates several things I have been doing wrong, with this sentence Mike sums up the #1 problem that has challenged me on my projects to date:
It has long been said that most indies will gladly save a nickel Friday that costs them $20 on Monday, either because they don’t know any better or simply don’t have the $2 on Friday to prevent the $20 error on Monday. Add zeroes to amounts until it applies to you/your project.
