    Walter Murch lectures on the art/craft of editing. Murch is a guru for editors every. He has edited classics like Apocalypse Now, but he has also done a lot of writing and speaking about editing and creative decision making. These videos document the 2003 BAFTA ceremonie and should provide a lot of creative inspiration for filmmakers. You will also get detailed information on the history of editing. Very cool. Part One.     Mike Curtis builds a home studio. The HD guru behind HD For Indies takes some time to get his home studio in order and documents the process in great detail - with photos. Now I don’t feel so bad about all the cables that snake their way all over my apartment.

    The Student Film Drinking Game. This could be helpful if you watch a lot of MicroCinema productions as well.

    Texas Indie Meet 2 is coming up. Necroscopic Unlimited is gearing up for its second annual meeting of Texas horror filmmakers. This year, the project is The Eating Game. You don’t even have to make the trip to play a part. Necroscopic is seeking submissions of “disturbed horror-esque” commercials that will be incorporated into the film.

    FilmGal Jessica Gallant has unleashed a new clip from her upcoming Drop Dead Film Festival documentary. This installment features Siiiii and will disappear after about a week, so watch it before it disappears.
