Amit Tripuraneni, director of the MCS fave Memories of Tomorrow, has reached final cut on his followup feature Five. “The length stands at 73 minutes minus opening and end credits,” said Tripuraneni. “There is no flab left in the movie.” Five will now move into the online stage for sound design, scoring, color grading and special effects. Since everyone involved is working on the film in their spare time, Tripuraneni estimates it will take at least 1.5 months to full complete.
With Five locked, Tripuraneni is already starting to focus his attention on the next film and he has quite a few to choose from. “There is another script tentatively titled SATP which is due to come in within a week and it could possibly be my next film project.,” said Tripurani. “I also just picked up the film rights to an award winning hindi novel - The Girl with Golden Parasol - I will start on the adaptation process sometime soon. “
